Support and empower our seniors to improve their quality of life.
Creating opportunities to assist the elderly in need in our communities.
Commitment and devotion to senior care and development.
The mission of The Bernetta Phillips Foundation for the Elderly is to enrich the lives of seniors in the communities that encompass the St. John’s District of Churches, through advocacy, volunteerism, and stewardship, empowering them to lead a life of dignity and respect.
Our aim is to help provide access to high-quality care, services and resources, creating an infrastructure for the empowerment of the elderly and improvement of their quality of life.

We act as an information and resource center to connect the elderly with private and government agencies that can provide assistance. We also provide compassionate support and advice for older adults when they have run out of help.
Additionally, we aim to directly impact those seniors most in need of financial help. We also promote programs aimed at combatting loneliness and developing supportive relationships. More so now than ever, many seniors in Jamaica need help with nutrition, transportation, health services and housing.
With your help, older adults who are vulnerable, at risk, and who may also be homebound, will be sure to receive the support to age with dignity, respect and independence.
Support the staff and committee members for in-person events including educational and funding raising events.
Provide assistance with small tasks for the elderly in your area of expertise. For example, plumbing, construction, education and finance.
